Inside, the base is lined with dark charcoal Irish beetled linen, sourced from Ireland’s oldest linen mill. Beetling is a rare traditional finishing process that gives the cloth its distinctive lustre and is now carried out by the last commercial beetling mill in the world. The underside of the box is finished in faux suede to help protect the surface on which it sits.
Solid brass hinges, made in the UK, complete the piece and add a quality traditional detail.
