Every piece starts with the place it is made for. The size, use and style all matter. I design each item to suit the room, the building and the way it will be used.

Oak Furniture with Lasting Value

I work mainly in solid timber. Each board is chosen for its grain, colour and character. Traditional cabinetmaking methods are used with modern workshop equipment.

Some pieces have a personal story behind them. They may be made for a home, church, estate or public building. Others may mark a person, place or special event.

All my furniture is made in my workshop in County Antrim. I work from the first idea through to the finished piece. The aim is to make furniture with meaning, strength and lasting value.

Making a Bespoke Kitchen Table

This work reflects my approach to furniture making — using solid timber, traditional craftsmanship and practical design to create pieces that feel natural in the home and are made to be used for many years.

Steam Bending Chair Components

Hand Finishing in the Workshop

A behind-the-scenes look at the finishing process, where timber is carefully stained by hand to bring out the colour, grain and character of the wood. This stage is an important part of the making process, adding depth and warmth before the final protective finish is applied.

Carried out in my Northern Ireland workshop, each piece is finished with care and attention to detail, helping create furniture and wooden pieces that look refined, feel considered and are made to last.
