Every commission begins with a conversation.

You may already know what you want. Or you may only have a rough idea. Either is fine.

Tell me what the piece is for. Tell me where it will go. I can then help shape the idea into something clear.

Designing Your Bespoke Piece

Once I understand the idea, I can begin the design. We will look at size, timber, style and detail.

The design stage helps avoid guesswork. It also makes sure the piece suits its purpose and setting.

Once the design is agreed, I begin the making. Each piece is made with care in my workshop in rural County Antrim.

The time needed will depend on the project. A small box may be quicker. A large furniture piece or church commission will take longer.
