RMS Titanic Keepsake Box

£175.00

Honouring Belfast’s shipbuilding heritage, this handcrafted RMS Titanic keepsake box is designed around the story, construction and launch of the world-famous ship built in Northern Ireland.

The top of the box is inspired by the original RMS Titanic launch ticket issued for the ship’s launch in Belfast. This detailed design is created using a combination of traditional marquetry and precise laser engraving, bringing together fine woodworking, local history and careful craftsmanship.

Handmade from Irish elm and sycamore, the box has a warm natural character and a strong connection to Irish materials. It can be used as a jewellery box, keepsake box, memory box or as a special place to store something meaningful.

Inside, the base is lined with dark charcoal Irish beetled linen, sourced from Ireland’s oldest linen fabric mill. Beetling gives the linen its subtle lustre through a rare traditional finishing process, now carried out by the last commercial beetling mill in the world. The underside of the box is finished in faux suede to help protect the surface on which it is placed.

This is an in-stock piece and is ready to ship.
