Giant's Causeway Irish 'Breads' Board
Celebrate Northern Ireland’s baking heritage with this handcrafted Giant’s Causeway chopping board, engraved with the names of traditional local breads: Potato Bread, Soda Farl, Veda, Wheaten Bread and Barmbrack.
Inspired by the iconic basalt stones of the Giant’s Causeway, the board’s distinctive outline reflects the natural geometry of one of Northern Ireland’s most famous landmarks. Handmade from native Irish hardwood, most often elm or ash, each board has its own unique grain, colour and character.
This board is both practical and decorative. Use it as a wooden chopping board, bread board, cheese board or serving board for fresh bread, soda farls, scones, cheeses, charcuterie and grazing platters. Its engraved detail makes it especially suited as a thoughtful Northern Irish gift, housewarming present, wedding gift or keepsake for anyone with a love of Irish food, heritage and craft.
Every chopping board is individually handcrafted by Noel McCullough in his County Antrim workshop using carefully selected hardwoods and traditional woodworking techniques. No two pieces of timber are exactly alike, making every board unique in its grain, colour and character. Built for everyday use and designed to last for generations, each board makes a thoughtful wedding, housewarming, birthday, anniversary or retirement gift while celebrating the beauty of natural wood.
